Alison has over 25 years’ experience as a Physiotherapist qualifying from Liverpool university in 1993. She has worked at The Wirral, Wigan and currently at Warrington Hospitals; working the majority of those years within the field of Respiratory Medicine.  Alison went on to gain her MSC in Respiratory Medicine from Sheffield Halam University and now  specialises in Chronic Lung Disease, chronic breathlessness and dysfunctional Breathing patterns.

Conditions that may benefit from Respiratory Physiotherapy advice and treatment include-

The aim of Respiratory Physiotherapy is to provide self-management strategies and treatment options to help people manage their condition better this may include breathing retraining, breathing control, stress/anxiety management, chest clearance techniques and general self-care advice.
