Lucy Kuipers Associate Psychotherapist  MA, PGCert, Psychotherapist (ADMP UK Registered), UKCP Membership Lucy is a registered psychotherapist who was trained in London (University of Roehampton) and now practises in Wigan and Chorley privately. She also works as a freelance psychotherapist trainer for an independent Therapeutic Fostering Organisation and as a senior practitioner on a UK-wide mental health and wellbeing support programme for staff in education. Lucy has worked in academia as a Visiting Lecturer, Dissertation Supervisor and Associate Tutor in universities in London and North West England. Her scope of practice includes working with children, young people and adults in mainstream, SEMH and SEND school provisions, Community Hospice, Residential Care, Supported Accommodations and Lodgings including a mother and baby service, Acquired Brain Injury Charity Community Services, Fostering, Early Intervention, Transition, Preparation and Moving on Services, Youth Justice, and pre-trial therapy work. She also has experience in parent-carer direct work and alongside multi-agency professionals offering training, advice and consultancy. Lucy offers individual psychotherapy sessions at The Bridgeman Centre. She has an interest in embodied, relational approaches to psychotherapy with a focus on the mind-body connection.
